I have installed this as a service which is currently running but I can't
get it to log to a file. I have unchecked the log to Application Event Log
(which it was logging to just fine so I know it's receiving messages) and
checked the Log to File option. I specified a location of C:\syslog.log but
nothing appears. I even created the file for it but still nothing..

Can anyone help?

Hi Victoria,

please check the permissions on the directory containing your log file (C:\
in your case).
Make sure that the "Local System" account has Full Control permissions on
the directory/log file.
