I am setting up a PIX to log to a my syslog server.

I have defined an action for file & viewer, pointed the pix to server =

with:

logging on

logging host inside x.x.x.x

logging trap 7

where x.x.x.x is the syslog server.

when I telnet to port xxx where xxx is the viewer protocol port config =

I do

not see anything. and I am on the correct channel.

Am I missing something?
