I am trying to setup my Cisco Cat6006 switch to send SYSLOG to SL4NT. I have
created rules/actions, but can't seem to get anything in a log file, event
viewer, or e-mail.

Anyone using a Cat6K switch with CatOS code 6.1?

Thanks,

Hi Ron,

use the performance counter "Message received" of the performance object
"Syslog Service" to check if syslog messages are received by SL4NT. If this
counter shows activity, then your rule/action configuration may not be
correct (make a backup of your configuration to a text file and send it to
me. I will then take a look at it). If this counter does not show activity,
then your Cat6K configuration may be the problem.
