Hi,

Is there a way to backup the config through a batch file ? I will be adding

a rule

or two every week and i want to be sure i don't forget to backup the config

so

if i could schedule a batch file i'd be happy.

thanks

Michel

Michel,

what you can do is to configure SL4NT to write it's current configuration

automatically to a text file whenever there's any change to the

configuration.

Using a scheduled batch file you could then copy this file to a backup

location.

Please take a look at the documentation (Administrator's Guide->Configuring

Syslog Service Properties Using Files) for more information about how to

configure SL4NT this way.
