Hi,

Can I change the subject line (as the body) of the created SMTP message ?
I want to put some plus fields of the syslog message into the subject line.

Thanks

Norbi

Hi Norbert,

you can achieve this by creating a new log format definition and assign it
to your "send e-mail" action.

The documentation says about log format definitions used by "send-email"
actions:

"The first text line (terminated by <CR><LF>) of the message content will be
put into the subject line (up to 255 characters) of the SMTP message. The
body of the SMTP message will contain all text lines except the first one."
