You are using the initial release of SL4NT 2.0, which was available for =

only

one day (02/11/00).

It displays the bug you describe if running on NT 4.0 (W2K would be =

fine).

To fix your problem, please replace the file sl4ntmgr.dll in the

<InstallDir>\Bin directory with the fixed one, which is attached to this

message.

You must be an administrator of the local computer, where the SL4NT =

Manager

Snap-In is running, and you must be an administrator of the target =

computer

on which an instance of SL4NT, which you want to administer, is running.

In case that the account you're currently logged in at the local =

computer

does not exist at the target computer or it does exist but does not have

administrator privileges, do the following: Connect to a file share =

("Net

Use" or Explorer) on the target computer with the credentials of an

administrator account. Afterwards you should be able to administer the

remote SL4NT instance with the SL4NT Manager.

Franz
