Hi,

I'm just now starting to work in a lab setting using SL4NT to monitor a

number of internal routers (Cisco)...is there a guide available online

or in the stores that might help me get a better handle on how all of

this works together? I understand the notion of logging, events,

actions, and such but I'm unfamiliar with how to *best* configure the

syslog server itself to handle such information in an effective manner.

I'll be sending all the data into an ODBC-DB, btw.
