Hi Michael,

to configure SL4NT to receive process syslog messages sent by the Cisco

router and then log them to a file, do the following:

1. Create and configure a 'log-to-file' action

2. Create a rule, specify only the description and associate the =

previously

created action with this rule.

This configuration will now log ALL received syslog messages to the file =

you

specified in the action properties.
