We have the below environment

Two Exchange 2010 SP3 RU23 Edge Transport servers at DMZ installed with DKIMx 1.20.120 version

We are planning to upgrade our Exchange Servers from 2010 to 2016.

What is best method to upgrade to Exchange 2016 along with DKIMx ?

After you installed MS Exchange Server 2016, install DkimX 3.20 and then perform the following steps to migrate the configuration of your previous DkimX 1.20 installations:

1. Stop the DkimX Management service.

2. Delete all existing configuration files in the directory <InstallDir>\Data\Configuration.

3. Copy the old configuration file Config.xml into the directory <InstallDir>\Data\Configuration.

4. Start the DkimX Management service.

Thank you for your response

How about the server names? New servers names does not impact anything right?

I could see the current selector name is as identical as the current Edge server name.

I understand the selector name is something we are keying in manually, not the predefined one....so I believe the change of server names won't impact anything.

But still looking for experts opinion/ confirmation.

You're correct, the server name has no relevance regarding the DKIM signer configuration, a change of server names will therefore have no impact on your DKIM signer configuration.
