I cannot seem to generate any messages in the perf. mon. I am using the demo
of 2.1. I have installed the same syslog client on a couple of
workstations. I can send messages to a different syslog dameon. It appears
that the client is working. However SL4NT doesn't seam to be accepting data.
The service is running and not generating any errors in the local event
viewer.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I am trying to put together proposal for my
company to purchase a couple copies of this software. The interface is very
clean and robust and I would like to use this as a solution.

Thanks
Ian

I'm sorry for the late response but somehow I missed your post...

Did you configure at least one rule, which you associated with at least one
action?
