I have two ethernet cards in my Windows NT 4.0 machine.
I only seem to get syslog messages on one of the interfaces.
Does SL4NT support multiple interfaces???
How do I make sure it is listening on all network interfaces???
I know packets are coming in because I use a network analyzer.

Thanks,

Hi Nick!

1. Yes, SL4NT 2.x supports multiple interfaces, it will always listen on all
of them
2. Is "Any" configured for the rule property "Destination IP-Address", or
did you mistakenly select a specific IP-address?
3. Use the SL4NT perf counters (Syslog Service object, counter: Messages
received) to check if syslog messages are received by SL4NT on all
interfaces or not.
