Hello,

we are moving from SBS2003 to SBS2008.

I have downloaded DisclaimIT 4.5 and installed.

When i send a EMail (TEXT or HTML) no disclaimer is added.

I have attached trace files, but i don't see a problem.

Can you help ?

Thank you.

Holger

Hi Holger,

Is the Exchange Transport Rule "DisclaimIt: <Name of processing rule>" enabled?

If no, enable the transport rule (which is disabled after creation).

If yes, send one or more test messages with trace logging enabled (maximum level for all categories) and then post the log files again.

Hello Franz,

thak you for your support.

I already enabled the transport rule.

Today it works without problems.

Is it possible, that I have to restart Outlook or have to wait some hours for activation ?

Regards

Holger

Hi Holger,

>Is it possible, that I have to restart Outlook or have to wait some hours for activation ?

no. The Exchange transport service is restarted during installation but after it finishes its initialization and starts to process messages, the DisclaimIt agent should be active.

Could it be that you configured a distribution group filter on the Exchange transport rule? This could maybe explain it because the Exchange transport service caches group membership for four hours before refreshing.
