You have a security problem. You should get an error, too, if you try to

remotely view the Event Log of the target computer. It seems that the

account you are logged on locally is not an administrator of the target

computer.

Do the following:

Connect to a file share on the target computer with an account which is =

administrator of the target computer and start afterwards the SL4NT =

Manager

and connect to the target computer.
