Hi Rick,
if you don't need reverse lookup, you can disable it on the "Other Settings"
property tab. To prevent output of "???" to the log file, you can create a
new 'Log Format', where you don't include the '<HostnameSource>' data field.
The other solution, supporting local reverse lookup without the need for
DNS, would be to create a HOSTS file in the C:\WINNT\SYSTEM\DRIVERS\ETC
directory with all the needed entries.
