Franz,

First off, nice product; its really helping us in our mixed environment.

Secondly, I've been configuring SL4NT 3.1 to pipe key info to an Event
Viewer via custom rules and everything is working well, possibly too well.
I use Crystal Reports on my Event Viewer to pull common events and create
weekly reports based on those events, but in order to do so, I query the
Event ID. As such, I've been limited to what I can further pipe as I've run
out of Event ID's (i.e. 1001, 1002, 1003, etc.) Currently, I have rules set
that use every Entry type for all three Event Logs.

Is there a way I can add more Event ID's/Entry Types or even assign my own?

Hi Jack,

there's no way to add custom Event-IDs. Event-IDs are contants that are
associated with a specific event log entry in the registry. This is a
requirement of the Event-Log mechanism of NT.

Sorry...

Franz
