as the guy responsible for the product SL4NT, I can at least tell you =
that
the available support is very good 🙂, no matter if someone uses our
provided newsgroups or contacts up by e-mail (support@netal.com,
franzk@netal.com).

Regarding your question about how easy it is to configure and administer
SL4NT:

If you have unexperienced SysAdmin (regarding the Syslog mechanism) you
should consider the following method: Prepare SL4NT configurations with
defined actions and rules and save them to files (using the SL4NT =
Manager)
and then send them to your SysAdmins. They can then import those
configuration files and possibly adapt them slightly to their specific
environment, if necessary.
